Terms and Conditions for Deva Farm House

1. General Information

Deva Farm House provides a serene and comfortable environment for our guests. By booking with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which are designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

2. Booking Process and Confirmation

  • All bookings must be made through our official channels: phone, email, or the website.
  • Bookings will be confirmed once the required deposit or full payment is received, as per the booking type.
  • If your preferred dates are unavailable, we will notify you immediately and suggest alternate dates.

3. Rates and Payment

  • Rates: The rates for rooms and services at Deva Farm House are subject to change based on seasonal demands and availability.
  • Deposit: A deposit of 20-50% of the total booking amount is required to confirm a reservation. The exact amount will be communicated during the booking process.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, online payment gateways, or cash upon check-in. Additional payment instructions will be provided.
  • Taxes: All rates are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added to the total cost at the time of booking or check-in.

4. Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in Time: 12:00 PM (noon)
  • Check-out Time: 11:00 AM
  • Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged based on availability and may incur additional charges.

5. House Rules and Responsibilities

  • Guest Conduct: We expect guests to respect the farm house, property, and other guests during their stay. Noise disturbances, disrespectful behavior, or damage to property may result in eviction without refund.
  • Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside the rooms and common areas. Designated smoking areas will be provided.
  • Alcohol and Drugs: Guests are not permitted to bring or consume illegal substances on the premises. Alcohol is only allowed in designated areas.

6. Security and Liability

  • Guests are responsible for their own belongings. Deva Farm House is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
  • The property is equipped with security measures, but we advise guests to take precautions regarding their valuables.
  • Deva Farm House is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages occurring during the stay.

7. Special Requests

  • Any special requests, such as room preferences, accessibility needs, or additional services, should be communicated at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate them, but cannot guarantee availability.

8. Force Majeure

Deva Farm House is not liable for any disruptions or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, etc.)
  • Government-mandated closures or travel restrictions
  • Public strikes or disruptions

Cancellation Policy

1. Standard Cancellation Policy

  • More than 7 Days before Check-in: Guests can cancel their reservation for a full refund.
  • Within 7 Days of Check-in: A 50% cancellation fee will apply.
  • No-Show: If a guest does not show up without prior notice, the booking will be treated as a cancellation and no refund will be provided.

2. Special Circumstances

  • Medical Emergencies: If the cancellation is due to a medical emergency, a medical certificate will be required. In such cases, we may offer to reschedule the booking or provide a partial refund.
  • Force Majeure: In the case of circumstances such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or any unforeseen event, guests will have the option to reschedule their stay or receive a full refund.

3. Refund Process

  • Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 7-10 business days after the cancellation is confirmed.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed upon.

4. Rescheduling

  • Free Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your booking more than 7 days before your check-in date, you may do so without a fee (subject to availability).
  • Rescheduling Within 7 Days: A 20% rescheduling fee will be applied if the reschedule request is made within 7 days of the check-in date.

5. Group Bookings

  • For group bookings (more than 5 rooms), a separate contract and special terms will apply, including a larger deposit and customized cancellation policies. Please contact us for more details.

6. Pet Policy

  • We love animals, but pets are not allowed in the rooms or common areas unless it is a service animal. Please inquire ahead for details on our pet policy.

7. Environmental and Sustainability Initiatives

  • Deva Farm House is committed to sustainability and eco-friendly practices. Guests are encouraged to participate in water and energy conservation during their stay. Recycling bins are provided on the property for guest use.

8. Photography and Social Media

  • By staying at Deva Farm House, guests grant permission for the use of their images and videos for promotional purposes, unless they specify otherwise in writing at the time of booking.
  • Guests are welcome to take photos and share their experiences on social media. Please tag us with our official handle.

9. Feedback and Complaints

  • We value your feedback! If you have any concerns or issues during your stay, please contact our front desk or management immediately. We strive to resolve any problems and improve our services.
  • Complaints made after check-out cannot be addressed, so please ensure any concerns are raised during your stay.
